Paul Bettings has been capturing social, cultural and geo-political issues through a camera for several years. His commitment to the visual is based on a philosophy of relational, intimate storytelling that is rooted in the human condition, honesty and a sensitive eye.
Throughout his career, his work has taken him around the globe and allowed him to work for many organizations and news wires such as Canadian Press and Associated Press. Along with Paul�s love of traveling and desire for social justice his work includes aerial, event and commercial photography.
Born in Toronto, Canada in 1979, Paul graduated with an undergraduate degree in Art History/Cultural Studies from York University and completed graduate and post-graduate schooling in Photography at the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
Currently, Paul and his wife Marie live in Nairobi, Kenya.
