A Room That Feels Like Home

I have slept outside on the desert floor in Mauritania, on a concrete bench in the mountains of South Sudan, and on a small cot in an even smaller hut in Northern Uganda.

I love these spaces, I love these accommodations, I love these hotel rooms. On a recent assignment to rural Mali, in West Africa, I drove 6 hours east of Bamako to capture stories with my camera. Here's a tour of the rooms I love the most.
