Faces

Updated: Jan 25, 2021

Stone faces, alone in their journey through history, reflect their presence in their surroundings. Their permanence experienced through our brief encounters with them tell of a weathered authority that has lasted through millennia. Although this authority may be tested by the consequences of our presence, it will endure far longer than us. This nature, these reflections, this calmness, these faces, which have accepted us and given us the tools for our wellbeing, prosperity and stability, do not need us. We will be gone, and they will remain alone, reflecting their dignity as they march onwards through time.
