Street scenes from the Global South are never boring and never cease to amaze. Things that are normal to locals are strange or amusing to onlookers from distant countries. The regular life taking place all around takes on an increased sense of visual interest because it is different. But the reality is that we all need to work, we all need to make money, we all spend time with our friends, we all find ourselves on the side of the road doing something – we are all trying to accomplish the same things, we just all do it differently. And, that’s not a bad thing.
